The president has mostly lauded the late South Carolina senator, while simultaneously using his death to attack Democrats, rant about the SAVE America Act, and push Congress to pass crypto-friendly legislation. \u201cIn honor of Lindsey Graham, a big supporter, the U.S. Senate should pass the Clarity Act,\u201d he wrote Monday morning on Truth Social.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/businessmovingservicess.com\/?p=364\">What Really Happened in the Last Known Video of Nolan Wells: \u2018It\u2019s Me Yelling\u2019<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\tTrump has also squeezed in a few jabs at his longtime ally, who, like all of his longtime allies, could have been a little more loyal.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cHe had one bad moment, that was the January 6 thing, when he stood up: \u2018All right, now I\u2019ve had it. That\u2019s it. I can\u2019t do it anymore,&#8217;\u201d Trump told Fox News on Monday. \u201cThen he called me about 40 minutes later and he said, \u2018Did I really say that? I can\u2019t believe it,\u2019 and he took it back. So I give him a 99 instead of a 100.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cI had nothing to do with that, just so you understand,\u201d Trump continued of the Jan. 6 riots, during which a violent mob of his supporters stormed the Capitol in an attempt to stop the certification of the 2020 election. \u201cPeople got terribly destroyed because of that, where they did absolutely nothing wrong. I was very proud to give everyone a pardon.\u201d<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\n\tGraham did indeed swear off Trump in the hours following the riot. \u201cCount me out, enough is enough,\u201d he said in a speech on the Senate floor hours after the attack, before, according to Trump, crawling back to him shortly thereafter. He said, \u2018I\u2019ll get you in South Carolina. I\u2019m going to get you in South Carolina.\u2019 That didn\u2019t work out too well. I joke about it. It was amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tGraham was indeed totally against Trump during the 2016 primary, famously writing: \u201cIf we nominate Trump we will get destroyed\u2026\u2026.and we will deserve it.\u201d<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\n\tIt\u2019s been just over a decade since Graham portended the party\u2019s demise.
